What? "It is agreed" on the 70%-30% male - female ratio? It is absolutely NOT agreed; there are many views on that. The only correct position is to say that some think that, others think there is no significant preference. Expat 08:55, 19 June 2007 (CDT)
Also, do we really want to leave that simplistic dichotomy as it is, which has already led to confusion elsewhere? Expat 08:56, 19 June 2007 (CDT)
You don't call a person "logical type" or "ethical type" Machintruc 02:58, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
- Actually, that's what people tend to say. I know, it's not consistent ("intuiter" and "senser," but "logical type" and "ethical type"), but no one says "ethician." A possible solution is to use "logicals" and "ethicals," or "I'm an ethical" -- just like the category "socials," or "rationals and irrationals." (Admin 16:18, 20 June 2007 (CDT))
- Let's suppose you're right - does that mean that LII are strategicals and LSI are tacticals ? instead of strategists and tacticians ? Machintruc 16:28, 20 June 2007 (CDT)
- No, because those words already exist, and people's ears are used to them (strategist and tactician). It's purely a matter of what is easier for the ear to adapt to. People have chosen "rationals" over "rationalists," for instance. I can't imagine anyone ever saying "ethicians." (Admin 16:46, 20 June 2007 (CDT))
What does this phrase mean?: May have either "logical" body-language or none at all. Thehotelambush 02:51, 15 July 2007 (CDT)
- Feel free to edit that. Machintruc is on vacation. --Admin 03:22, 15 July 2007 (CDT)
